"Time is an ocean, but it ends at the shore
You may not see me tomorrow."
I'm looking at a shoreline right now, and a very pretty one at that. Along with many, I am deeply saddened by the passing of Robin Williams, seemingly at his own hands.
He was certainly quirky, occasionally in a tiresome way, but he was a huge talent. I've written in the past about the march of time but Mr Williams' rendering is legendary. Rather than write many words here, I'll let him do the talking. I watched the film below when it was first launched and kinda enjoyed it but, at a relatively young age, I didn't fully appreciate the point. RIP Robin. I just wish you had been able to seize a few more.
"Medicine, law, business, engineering... these are noble pursuits, and necessary to sustain life but poetry, beauty, romance, love - these are what we stay alive for...
The powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?"
